'Percy Jackson & The Olympians' Season 2 Adds New Names To The Crew

Nexus Point News has learned that Percy Jackson & The Olympians Season 2 has welcomed two new members to its behind-the-scenes team: cinematographer Stephen Maier and costume designer Catherine Adair.


Maier, whose credits include Superman & Lois (CW/HBO Max/Warner Bros), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix), and FX’s Shōgun, joins the production alongside returning cinematographer Jules O’Loughlin, who helped shape the series' visual style in Season 1.

Adair, an Emmy-winning costume designer, brings her expertise to the show with a portfolio that includes The Mysterious Benedict Society (Disney+), Perry Mason (HBO), and Desperate Housewives (ABC).

Season 2 of Percy Jackson & The Olympians follows Percy’s return to Camp Half-Blood, where danger looms as Kronos’ power continues to grow. Amid the rising threats, Percy learns he has a Cyclops half-brother named Tyson. His quest takes him to the Sea of Monsters, where he must face a deadly fate connected to his father, Poseidon.


New additions to the cast include Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Percy’s Cyclops brother; Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus; Andra Day as Athena, Annabeth’s mother; and Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, and Margaret Cho as the Gray Sisters.


Returning cast members include Walker Scobell as Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover, with Charlie Bushnell as Luke, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse, and Lin-Manuel Miranda reprising his role as Hermes.


Production on the eight-episode second season has been underway since August of 2024 and is expected to wrap in January 2025.
