Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 can’t get here fast enough. Showrunners Dan Shotz and Jonathan E. Sternberg have been giving their blood, sweat and tears to bring Rick Riordan’s world leap from the pages to the screen.

Season 3 will be an adaptation of The Titan’s Curse, the third entry in Rick Riordan’s book series. Following the revival of Thalia Grace, legendary daughter of Zeus, Percy and the gang will venture on another quest to rescue Artemis and Annabeth Chase from the Titan Atlas.

All eight episodes for Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 wrapped filming in March. We can exclusively reveal the titles along with the writers attached below:

  1. “My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong” by Craig Silverstein
  2. “An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit” by Albert Kim
  3. “I Learn How to Grow Zombies” by Sarah Watson
  4. “We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods” by Tamara Becher-Wilkinson
  5. “I Have a Dam Problem” by Shae Worthy
  6. “I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin” by Albert Kim
  7. “I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds” by Craig Silverstein
  8. “The Gods Vote How to Kill Us” by Craig Silverstein

Episode 1 is titled after the first chapter in The Titan’s Curse, “My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong.” This will most likely be our introduction to Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the children of Hades played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie. As for the second episode, that’s interestingly titled after the sixth chapter in the book. It’s safe to say that the writers will be condensing the events of the first five chapters in the season premiere. Considering that Annabeth is kidnapped in the fourth of twenty chapters while the Disney+ series produces 8 episodes a season, this change is unsurprising.

“An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit” would be a Nico-centric story exploring his connections with the afterlife alongside universal themes of grief and mortality. “I Learn How To Grow Zombies,” sharing the title with chapter 9, should be a fun episode. On the contrary to what anyone might think, Percy does not learn how to grow Zombies. That unholy power is mastered by his enemies, and Percy has to stop them. “We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods” follows chapter 13, where the heroes travel to a dumping ground filled with the Gods’ abandoned creations.

“I Have a Dam Problem,” based on chapter 14, follows Percy, Thalia, Grover, and their new friend Zoë Nightshade running from demonic skeletons at Hoover Dam. “I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin,” based on chapter 15, should follow Percy fighting the sea god Nereus. However, the actor playing him is unknown at this time. The final episodes are expected to adapt chapters 17-20, bringing the season to an end.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres later this year on Disney+. Led by Walker Scobell, the cast includes Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Tamara Smart, alongside newcomers Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie.
